How it works
From product page
to “that's the one.”
What shoppers see, and how to set it up on your store in a few minutes.
The shopper's side
Three taps to see it on.
The fitting room moment, at the exact point shoppers decide. No downloads, no accounts, nothing to learn.
-
01
Tap the button
Shoppers tap Virtual Try On next to the product details. A short notice explains the camera, then the try-on opens over the page, without leaving your store.
-
02
See it on, live
The camera follows them as they turn and move, wearing the product in the color they picked, for twenty seconds. Or they upload a photo instead.
-
03
Keep it, buy it
They keep a short video to share or save, and Add to cart is one tap away, for the exact variant they tried on.
Setup guide
Live in five steps.
No code, and it works with every Shopify theme. The app's Setup guide walks you through the same steps.
Install TryOnTrend
Install from the Shopify App Store and choose a plan. Start on Free to try it first; paid plans are approved in Shopify.
Add the button to your theme
In the app, open Setup guide and click Add Virtual Try On block. Your theme editor opens with the block on the product page: place it under your buy buttons and save. Older themes: turn on the TryOnTrend app embed instead.
Make it yours
In the block settings, change the button text, style, colors, size, corners and spacing, or let shoppers open try-on by tapping the product photo.
Choose the products
Under Products, keep it on every product or pick products and collections, exclude anything that shouldn't have it, and set the stock rule (more than 1 in stock by default).
Try it yourself
Open a product page, tap Virtual Try On and see yourself in it. Then watch try-ons and orders arrive in Analytics and Activity.
Best results
Good photos,
great try-ons.
The try-on is built from your product photo, so a few photo habits make a big difference.
- Front-facing, full garment
The first product photo should show the whole piece from the front, not a detail or a back view.
- Plain background
Packshots on white or a flat color work best. Busy lifestyle photos give less convincing results.
- Clothing first
Tops, jackets, dresses, knitwear and trousers try on best. Exclude jewelry, bags and gift cards under Products.
